I first bought the Huaraches in June of 2024 (in the size 8.5 and the color tan, order #***** ) which was not the color I wanted as they looked rather light, but the darker colors were out of stock. They came a much richer tone than the picture shows, which I was happy about (see photos). My feet are medium/narrow, about 9cm wide and 24.5 cm long . Other barefoot shoes I'd bought(and Anya's blog) asked me to add a few cm to my chosen size, which is why I bought the 8.5. I wore these shoes on almost all days above 60F for a year, (the soles show that wear) and I did find that they stretched to be a little loose. Not to the point of being noticeable when I walked but made them certainly not shoes to go too fast in. Tragedy struck in Oct. 2025 when I wore them to a beach trip to the Delaware coast. First I hit them with salty air/water spray and then I left them outside the beach house in the cold October night. In the morning, the salt and cold had proved too much for the leather and multiple straps had gone brittle and snapped. After mourning my reckless choices all winter, I have finally bought myself a new pair in Cinnamon and a half size down to the 8, to allow for the stretching (Order # *****), the shade I originally wanted (see photos of the newer ones). I am so pleased with these and will be carefully conditioning the leather and not letting salt damage them. I'm sure I will get these to last much longer!

I'm never a size 7.5, but in these shoes I had to size up. Usually I'm a 7. Even with the size up I had to stretch these out with a shoe tree to get them to fit, primarily stretching lengthwise. I was originally worried about them staying on without tying the strap, but that has not been a problem. I overstretched one on the part that goes over the arch to keep the shoe on, and it ended up a little loose but doesn't come off.

I really love these shoes! I bought them right before travelling to Mexico this winter and I’m so glad I did! I will note that there is a small break in period as with any leather shoe. Where the ties sit at the heel of the shoe did rub a lot for the first day or two of wear, but then were comfortable. These also feel really tight across the foot when you first put them on (I was initially concerned they were too tight/small) but they really quickly soften to fit perfectly.
I really like the ankle tie personally, it made them really secure for long days walking. I would definitely recommend this shoe!

I absolutely love my Huarache Slip-Ons! I wear them daily at work and on my days off. On my feet a lot, lots of walking. So comfortable! Stylish, looks great with everything! Tried wide but they stretched too much for a good fit. The regular width is a bit tight in the beginning but stretch’s pretty quickly for a perfect fit. I have them in brown and black! Give them time to break in. Initially they were a bit tight but that only took a few wears to break in. More they are my most comfortable shoes. Love them so much and I get compliments all the time. I followed the sizing guide. My feet are sloped, a bit wide but nothing crazy and high volume. These form to my foot now.
