I'm enjoying my sneakers-- soon after getting them, I brought them on a 2 week trip abroad and they were great with just a few things to note:
1) I've had barefoot sandals (camping) and shoes (indoors, mostly) but these are my first sneakers that I've worn for prolonged periods outside (cobblestone, etc) so I found it helpful to add some alpaca insoles for both warmth and extra cushioning (unless it's really cold out, I leave them out now).
2) After getting caught in the rain (not sopping by any means) it felt like they took a long while to dry and, oddly, my big and second toes felt cold and damp for a while. (Could be the leather or maybe they run warm, though I haven't been in hot weather to test that theory yet.)
3) Given they're barefoot and have no toe box structure, mine have acquired creases (as expected) but also raised "veins" in the toe area plus maybe some glue marks at the very tip (unexpected). Either could be from getting wet or excess glue or maybe it's a natural aspect of the leather. I'm not sure which, but it's something I've noticed. (see pic)
None of the above should keep you from getting a pair, however and I'm happy enough with them that I'll be getting a pair of canvas ones next!
