This is my first pair of barefoot shoes and they are okay, but I don't think I will be purchasing them again in the future. I like that they are built from sustainable material and that they are good for my feet, but I just can't get over the look. They remind me of bowling or clown shoes when I wear them, so I don't find myself wearing them as much as I'd like to for that reason.

Online shoe buying is frustrating. I was so excited to try these shoes, but felt super worried about them being too small based on other reviews. I chose to order a full size up, and these literally look like costume clown shoes. There are so many mixed reviews about sizing. Sadly, I had to return them. A half size up may have worked, but that's not available between 10 and 11. I would recommend buying multiple pairs and returning the one that doesn't work if you have the ability. I really wanted to love these, the material, quality, and gold color was great. However, the shape is too cartoony and sizing too variable, even for a wide toe box shoe. The laces are also not great as others have said.

Really enjoying these. I've walked long distances in them and they've been comfortable. The leather is soft but nice quality and shoes are built well. They're a good shape for my feet and I like how they look too!

Overall, I am very happy with these shoes. They are comfortable and despite being made of leather, required almost no breaking in time. The leather is very easy to wipe clean - a must for a white shoe! I will certainly order from Origo again.
However, there are a couple of things I wish I knew before buying. First, these run small. I am a reliable 7.5 and measured according to the size guide, just in case. But, my toes rub on the toe caps of these shoes. I was still able to walk around 15,000 steps in them comfortably despite this. Second, the leather is VERY stiff. It's not uncomfortable by any means, but I did need to purchase a shoehorn to get my feet in the shoes. I am hopeful that the stiffness of the leather is indicative of a long-lasting shoe. Third, the smile is much more subtle than I was hoping for. It's barely visible. Lastly, the laces have some kind of coating on them; this makes it difficult to tie a tight knot to secure the shoe. Even after double knotting, I can pull on one end of a lace and undo the knot. This problem has dissipated over the past three months, but it is still present.
