I first jumped on the minimalist shoe train circa 2007 and haven’t looked back since. So when I started having kids in 2015, of course I knew I would prioritize their foot health. We have tried quite a few brands since then. Origo makes our favorite all around sneaker by far. They look great, hold up amazingly well, and my kid has never complained about wearing them. We have gotten a size up in each size since January 2022. I will say, the rose gold colored leather didn’t hold up as well as the colors have. Aside from that, the actual shoes can last multiple kids, even hard living kids 🙂
Mine often even backpacks in them!

Kid approved!
I have ordered these shoes twice. They are my toddlers favorite shoes and I love that he has room to splay his toes. They dry quickly and clean up well. If you're thinking about it try them out. Sizing is a little tricky at first but follow the size chart and you'll be okay.

Great shoes!
I love how easy these shoes are to put on my child. He says they are comfortable and I like that they are non toxic. My only complaint would be that the toe scuffs VERY easily and the scuffs are impossible to get out.

These are the best kids shoes ever!
I've been super impressed with these shoes. I just toss them in the washing machine and let them air dry. My 4 year old is super hard on these shoes and they have held up!

Love!
I purchased both my kids the Easy Hook & Loop in cotton canvas and they both love the shoes. They’ve been wearing them every day for about 6 months now and here is what I’ve noticed:
My son (PreK) wears them every day and other than normal wear on the sole, the only thing with the shoes is that the red starts to fade/rub away in some high traffic areas (shoe buckle area mainly).
My daughter (3) also wears them almost every day and hers shows a bit more wear, probably because she is rather heavy footed (sole worn away more in the heel area). The red on her shoes also shows similar wear as my son’s.
I LOVE the fact that I can throw the shoes in the washer! I use cold water on a gentle cycle and I air dry the shoes.
My only complaint is that I feel that the straps are not long enough. My son has mid volume feet and the hook side of the Velcro doesn’t fully cover the loop side. My daughter’s feet are high volume and her straps only go about halfway.
