The heritage boot that's rugged on top and barefoot underneath. A thin, flexible 3.5 mm sole with deep tread, foot-shaped with a wide toe box so your toes have room to spread. Leather certified by the Leather Working Group. Handmade in Mexico.

Treaded Sole: A 3.5 mm rubber sole with 1.5 mm of deep tread for durability and grip on wet surfaces.
Barefoot Fit: 11 mm total stack, foot-shaped with a wide toe box and no heel lift.
Removable Insole: A 3 mm foam insole that lifts out if you need more room.
Made to Last: Strobel-stitched with a lock-stitched sole, so it can be resoled and stay in your rotation for years.
Waxed Cotton Laces: Color-matched laces for a clean, single-tone finish.

MATERIALS

Natural leather upper: Certified by the Leather Working Group wherever possible, and it softens to the shape of your foot.
Leather midsole and lining: A 2.5 mm leather midsole under a 0.9 mm leather lining.
Textured rubber sole: 3.5 mm of rubber, a mix of natural and synthetic, with 1.5 mm of tread.

Ten stars - best stitch-down barefoot boots!
I’ve been only wearing barefoot footwear for over 15 years. I’ve tried plenty of brands and footwear types, these boots are by far the best I’ve worn.
Immediately comfortable out of the box, comparable to how my Vivobarefoot suede gobi boots have been my go-to for 10+years, the Origo Adventurers are an instant favourite.
These are town/everyday boots for me, they could do harder work, but I want to keep them in good state - I want them to last, even with a lot of use, and I’m confident they will.
The leather is soft, supple, and relatively thin - so I’ll see how they fair in colder weather, but the fit is really good for me, and an extra pair of socks won’t be a problem if needed.
They look great, I have the Mahogany colour, such a nice warm brown tone. The toe box is roomy but they don’t look like clown shoes, and I like the height of these boots, and the combination of holes and hooks for lacing, plenty of options and allow for getting them on/off easily.
I have lots of footwear, all for different uses, but smart stitch-down boots have been very hard to find, and even fewer wear actually any good - even those were not continued by manufacturers (like Vivobarefoot Porto).
Suggestions for improvements, I’d not a fan of pull loops on the back of the boot, they catch or stick out - these aren’t as bad as some, but I always cut them off. I’d love to see more colours, lighter browns, greens, etc. Online the two brown options are hard to distinguish, I don’t see enough…

Favorite shoes
Just got them - better than I expected. I’m pretty particular about my shoes and footwear. These are comfortable and breathable. Feel very durable. Will need to get more to match different clothes/styles!
