Got these because I am recovering from plantar fasciitis and want to make my feet stronger. Never had barefoot shoes before.
They look as close to normal as I could find. I’m more than comfortable wearing them to the office. I’m a US 9, they fit great from the size chart as well measuring my foot. The leather seems pretty nice, I treated them with mink oil leather conditioner, it deepened the color a bit and made them look much nicer. The laces are kinda weird and stiff, I took them out when I conditioned the leather, tried to break them in a bit and stretch them, it made a little difference. They also included white laces.
With PF I found I never had pain walking around home barefoot but then after every day at work with my wide fit dress shoes with superfeet my pain would get worse. The insoles (in normal shoes) help with pain and some recovery but don’t actually treat PF. Haven't had a pf flare wearing these yet, think I have noticed a little soreness just from being “barefoot” all day. These definitely prevent me from walking heel heavy which also triggers PF.

I found these shoes when looking online for replacement barefoot shoes that could be used as dress shoes for work. They are replacing a pair of Lems Nine2Fives that I used several pairs of over many years. And while unloved my Lems I wanted to give these Origo shoes a try and I am glad I did! After about 2 months of use I am still very happy with them. They are very comfortable even though they have a thin sole with a really good feel. And I love how tight and well they fit and the look as well. I am starting to see some wear on the sole so I will monitor how they wear over time. But so far I am very happy.

These shoes look great and feel comfortable!
The only thing I think could be improved is the minimal traction on the bottom. I feel like these and almost all barefoot style shoes have poor traction. The soles soon wear out and are slippery on damn ground.
