It’s a risk to break in a shoe at a formal event, let alone someone’s outdoor wedding. This pair was exactly the shoe I needed.

Comfortable, flexible, tolerant of my otherwise mid-low volume feet swelling from alcohol consumption, and cute to boot. I wish there was a version with a black sole to sneak these bad boys into black-tie tier events & conferences. The silhouette is lovely and flattering of my objectively awkward and ugly flat feet. That said, while they were comfortable enough and grippy enough I did the Rasputin Dance from the Wii on a smooth concrete dance pad without falling, I slid once in them on some wet cobblestones, and the straps came undone 3x during the wedding despite a square knot AND a bow.

Overall, I wish the laces for the ankles were about 2 inches longer each and came out of the top of the heel instead of the middle of it, but this is still an otherwise instantly comfortable shoe. I have wide feet with NARROW ankles that make finding comfortable shoes tricky, and this pair fit my needs. I even dashed after my friends in them with not a concern in the world. I did have to tie the straps with my foot flexed at a 90° angle for the straps to remain comfortable—important FYI

Would love to see

1: a black sole iteration

2: slightly longer laces at a higher attachment point

3: mild texture/pattern on the bottom to increase traction

Overall

1: breaks in quickly

2: flexibility is excellent and shoes are highly compatible with movement

The most comfortable sandal I’ve worn in a long time. Fit is near perfect, and they look great too, I get compliments on them all the time, they don’t look like clown shoes like a lot barefoot style shoes. Would love to also see them in kid sizes as my daughter wants to have matching shoes.

So far these have been the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. I plan to get more colors as they go with everything - jeans, dresses, shorts, you name it. And they don't look "clownish" like some barefoot shoes can.

I ordered 1/2 size down because I have narrow feet and was concerned they would slip off. My big toe was slightly rubbing, but now they perfect since they have stretched as they said they would. Love the color, quality, and comfort. Very happy with Origo’s product.
