The Retro Sneaker is a modern classic inspired by vintage styles, reimagined to fit barefoot principles.  Created with panels of certified natural leather and an amber sole for contrast.

MATERIALS

+ Natural Leather: Sourced from local and environmentally-conscious tanneries, our natural leather is not only durable and breathable but also adapts to your foot's shape. We use Leather Working Group-certified materials, emphasizing reduced environmental impact.


+  Soy Protein: Our innovative sneaker soles blend thermoplastic rubber with soy protein, improving biodegradability. This material choice not only reduces waste but also cuts down on carbon emissions.

SUSTAINABILITY + ETHICS

Ethical standards are at our core; our manufacturing prioritizes worker safety, above market wages, and humane treatment. We utilize small-batch production for efficient inventory management and waste reduction. Origo sources materials predominantly from North America and manufactures near our warehouse to minimize travel distances.  Our eco-conscious approach extends to packaging, utilizing garden-compostable materials and innovative kraft shippers. Each pair sold also supports Amazon reforestation through our partnership with One Tree Planted.

    So comfortable!

    I love the fact that my feet aren’t restricted at all with my origo shoes! Very comfortable for everyday wear. I would size up by 1/2 a size.

    New favorite shoes

    These are incredibly comfortable! And also very trendy. I am new to barefoot style shoes and these have been wonderful. I’ve had them for probably a couple months now and have worn them everywhere. I even wore them for an entire day at Disney World and felt great at the end of the day. Origo also has amazing customer service. There was a defect in a pair I purchased and they were so quick to make it right. I’ll be a lifetime customer!

    Great (but size up)

    I’ve worn for about a month and they still look great. Very comfortable. The sizing is off—these are the only shoes I own that are a bigger size. Love having two shoe laces.

    Love love love

    I wore these shoes to walk all around Europe and they were fantastic! My feet were tired by the end of the day but not in pain. They are super cute with any outfit and I love the retro vibes. I did have to size up a full size from 10 to 11 but they fit perfectly now. And hopefully they will hold up for a good long time.
