Really great boots that needs better soles

First..I love these. They’re super comfortable, look great and I wear them everyday. But.. the outsole is stitched on instead of glued and after a little more than a month of daily wear the stitches started to get worn thru. I had to take them to a cobbler who put on a proper barefoot outsole that was glued on. Now they’re perfect and get worn constantly. But I shouldn’t have had to spend $80 a month after buying them to resole them. Waiting for Origo to correct this to get a second pair.

    Beautiful boots!

The only thing I would change would be reinforcement on the heel cup, because they slouch down a bit. Leather is soft, feels sturdy and the boots are absolutely gorgeous.

    Amazing boots!

These boots are just what I was looking for: simple, lace up leather boots that look like they could be from another century. They are truly beautiful, so comfortable, and fit me true to size. They look so good under dresses and skirts and with cuffed jeans. I get many compliments on them!!

    Love them!

They’re beautifully made and so soft. The cut is great- there’s no excess material around my heel/ankle so it looks great and feel great. The sizing was as per measurements!

    Wow. Just wow.

Once again Origo has hit it out of the park. There’s really no other boot on the market like these. The styling is classic and timeless.

The leather is supple and form fitting, but also roomy and moves with you. As a parent to an active little kid, I never know when I find myself in a game of chase or kicking a ball around. While I wouldn’t choose this boot for sport activities (for fear or scuffing the beautiful leather) the boots are comfortable to wear all day and actively move in. They don’t pinch or scrunch your feet or toes.

The toe box feels just as wide as their gen 3 sneakers, if not a bit wider. I can comfortably wear my wool injinji toe socks in my typical size 6.5 women’s without the toe box feeling too tight. Whereas I prefer thinner socks or no socks in the sneakers.

The stitching seems robust and the sole is grippy. I have confidently worn them hiking in the Appalachians without complaint.

Truly I was very pleasantly surprised with just how functional these boots are. I expected the boot to prioritize aesthetic over function, and that’s not at all the case. They’re great boots all round. I see them lasting me many years to come.
