The Huarache Wide by Anya

Origo Shoes and Anya designed the PERFECT minimalist shoe/sandal with these Huaraches! They are well-constructed and you can tell that a lot of care and attention to detail went both into the overall design process and also the craftsmanship of each pair.

The traditional Huarache was already a versatile and stylish shoe before, and it's such a logical choice for a barefoot/minimalist design. Already being part sandal/part shoe made of leather, they can be worn with many outfits both casual and dressier - bringing functionality and style to most situations. Designing this version to include the zero drop sole, natural foot shape, and flexibility of barefoot shoes makes them comfortable and healthy as well!

The leather is high quality and does stretch a little. I'm thankful that after ordering my normal shoe size (possibly a little too impulsively) and then reading Anya's updated blog, that Origo customer service was able to edit my order to go ½ size smaller (as I sometimes go down to for certain sandals) before the order shipped. They were snug at first, but I've had them for about 5 days now and they already have basically conformed to my foot for a very comfortable fit. They move with me. If I had gone larger, they probably would slip after the leather stretched that little bit. I also have rather flat feet and the leather fits right around my instep with no issues.

Ventilation/breathability is obviously great and will be appreciated in summertime. Natural…
