These Huaraches truly opened up an entirely new world for me! I had been barefoot-curious for a while, and living with plantar fasciitis. I got these shoes in April and spent the entirety of the warm seasons with them on my feet. My feet never hurt, only got fatigued from muscle use. They got stronger. My back didn't hurt. I am a total convert now. I've gone on to buy barefoot sneakers and boots, and I asked for mary janes for christmas...fingers crossed!
I won't lie, there IS a smell when you get them. But since Origo uses such great materials I suspect it is the scent of chrome free leather, natural rubber, or vegetable dye. Just air them out on a few sunny afternoons :)

Great huaraches. After the first day of use I bent the points where I felt some pressure or discomfort to break them in a little. I had multiple 10-mile days with them on in sand, gravel, and city walking. No blisters.

I'm not one to leave reviews but there discovery and subsequent purchase is these huaraches was fantastic! I'm new to the barefoot/wide toe box shoe arena but it has been eye opening to find options for people with wide feet that are visually appealing as well.
If you have wide feet, want stylish shoes, and priced fairly for the quality. Get these!

I get compliments on these huaraches all the time. They are comfortable and roomy. The only issue I have is the leather has a very strong odor that hasn’t gone away in a couple months.

Absolutely love this sandal. After ordering the regular width and returning it, I ordered the wide version and my foot fit perfectly. I am usually between 38-39 and I find the 39 a touch too big, but it's better since in the summer at the end of the day my feet can be swollen so I'm glad for the extra room. I will order another pair in the futur for sure.
