I love love love the look, easily my favorite barefoot boot style. But construction/quality could be better. Though comfy, one boot had a defective inner heel that rubbed and gave me a painful blister. I'm hoping it will break in but in the meantime I wear a bandaid. The stitching came loose after a few hours wear at the mall. Or maybe it came that way, not sure. And the laces are annoyingly short. They were true to my normal size 8/39.
I ordered the Adventurer boot in Caramel. They are the most gorgeous boots I’ve ever seen. After I put them on (the sizing chart is accurate; my usual size fit perfectly) I kept exclaiming out loud how beautiful they were. To myself, alone, out loud. Stunning craftsmanship. I can tell these boots are a real labor of love.
Concerning comfort, along with being beautiful, they are probably the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. No blisters or rub spots, and the leather is delightfully smooth and soft. They feel like a second skin and let me move exactly as I wanted to. I felt like I could go walking through the woods silently and not break a branch, these boots are that flexible.
These boots feel like a treasure I’m lucky enough to get to enjoy. Thank you Origo for letting us see and touch such wonderful work. Thank your craftspeople for me as well. I’m in awe and very grateful.
These are the most comfortable and lightweight boot I’ve ever worn! My feet feel amazing and they look incredible. The craftsmanship is unmatched!
First..I love these. They’re super comfortable, look great and I wear them everyday. But.. the outsole is stitched on instead of glued and after a little more than a month of daily wear the stitches started to get worn thru. I had to take them to a cobbler who put on a proper barefoot outsole that was glued on. Now they’re perfect and get worn constantly. But I shouldn’t have had to spend $80 a month after buying them to resole them. Waiting for Origo to correct this to get a second pair.
The only thing I would change would be reinforcement on the heel cup, because they slouch down a bit. Leather is soft, feels sturdy and the boots are absolutely gorgeous.
