Created in collaboration with Anya’s Reviews, The Huarache Slip-On is a delicate woven sandal handmade in Mexico. Inspired by a traditional craft, this easy-going, breathable sandal will elevate your spring and summer outfits.

Originating from ancient times, Huaraches age gracefully, stretching and conforming to the unique shape of your feet while providing a light and airy sensation.

+ Vegetable-dyed, chrome-free natural leather

+ 3 mm natural rubber outsole, with texture for grip

+ With weaved straps that will conform to your foot as the leather ages

+ Includes a set of natural leather laces to secure the sandal around your ankle

+ Fits true to size, medium to wide width, medium volume (refer to Anya's blog here)

+ Please note that the vegetable-dyed leather used in our products is free of Chrome and may have slight color variations or darker spots.

MATERIALS

+ Natural Leather: Sourced from local and environmentally-conscious tanneries, our natural leather is not only durable and breathable but also adapts to your foot's shape. We use chrome-free leather, dyed by hand using vegetables for color. As a result, the color is not even. Ages beautifully.

+ Natural Rubber: Utilized in our Huarache and New Derby soles, natural rubber provides flexibility, shock absorption, and excellent grip, even on wet surfaces.

SUSTAINABILITY + ETHICS

Ethical standards are at our core; our manufacturing prioritizes worker safety, above market wages, and humane treatment. We utilize small-batch production for efficient inventory management and waste reduction. Origo sources materials predominantly from North America and manufactures near our warehouse to minimize travel distances. Our eco-conscious approach extends to packaging, utilizing garden-compostable materials and innovative kraft shippers. Each pair sold also supports Amazon reforestation through our partnership with One Tree Planted.

Great Shoes!
I absolutely love my Huarache Slip-Ons! I wear them daily at work and on my days off. On my feet a lot, lots of walking. So comfortable! Stylish, looks great with everything! Tried wide but they stretched too much for a good fit. The regular width is a bit tight in the beginning but stretch’s pretty quickly for a perfect fit. I have them in brown and black! Thank you Origo, and Anya for this design and the discount!

My most comfy ahoes
Give them time to break in. Initially they were a bit tight but that only took a few wears to break in. More they are my most comfortable shoes. Love them so much and I get compliments all the time. I followed the sizing guide. My feet are sloped, a bit wide but nothing crazy and high volume. These form to my foot now.

Beautiful leather huraches
These huraches are modern updates to the narrow ones previously favored. My foot moves well. The leather is very supple, with no breaking in time needed. The styling is on point and I plan to buy a pair for my mother-in-law who bought me my first pair of huraches.

Amazing shoes, but size down and trust the stretching process!!
First of all, I love these shoes. I’ve been looking for barefoot shoes made from natural materials that look cute and are comfy, and these tick all the boxes—the perfect summer shoe. The website says they run true to size, but I sized down a half size because I read a review from someone with low volume feet who recommended that. They were a bit tight at first, but stretched to fit my feet perfectly. Unfortunately, the leather continued to stretch so that after couple of months of regular wear they now fall off my feet when I try to wear them. Going to size down a full size in the future, definitely recommend sizing down at LEAST a half size and letting the leather stretch to fit rather than getting what feels like the right size out of the box.

Most favorite shoe
